Requirements

  • Completion of a university degree in engineering or equivalent experience required
  • One to three years of related work experience in process and process development required
  • Knowledge of machinery, tooling and automation required
  • Problem solving skills to deal with issues as they arise
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to provide guidance to others
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Computer literate (MS Office, Outook)
  • Practical knowledge and skills in data analysis, statistical analysis, chart making and auto cad required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop processes for all new launch tools
  • Works to continually improve existing processes in response to performance and quality issues
  • Tracks program performance to business plan targets and implement corrective measures when needed
  • Leads team to review cycle times and overall efficiency
  • Creates weekly reports summarizing overall yield and utilization
  • Drives process trials and quality validations
  • Runs trials for new material, tooling and machinery development.
  • Acts as a key member of the Capital Project Teams, contributing to investment in new technologies
  • Generates continuous improvements and cost savings via material, yield and cycle time improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
