About The Position

Alisal Ranch is seeking an experienced, service-oriented Wrangler to join its team. This temporary role involves taking guests on trail rides, providing horseback riding lessons, and performing general barn maintenance and horse-care tasks, including feeding horses and mucking. The position is on site at Alisal Ranch in Solvang, California, and requires open availability for varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Three to five years of solid riding experience, including trail riding.
• Prior customer service experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on site and stand, sit, walk, and move continuously for the duration of a shift.
• Open availability to accommodate varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Must present proof of identity and legal right to work in the United States after an offer and before employment.
• A conditional offer is subject to a criminal background check.

Responsibilities
