About The Position
A leading rehabilitation hospital in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to join its growing clinical team! This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offering a supportive inpatient rehabilitation environment with opportunities for career growth.
Requirements
- Current RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist license as required by facility type
- CPR certification required
- Minimum of one year of wound care experience required
- Ongoing wound care education and professional development required
- Strong communication, decision-making, and independent practice skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate wound care services in accordance with regulatory standards and physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement wound care treatment plans
- Educate patients, families, and hospital staff on wound care best practices
- Monitor wound healing progress and recommend appropriate interventions
- Maintain current knowledge of wound care advancements and evidence-based practices
