About The Position
A well-established hospital near Augusta, GA is seeking a full-time, permanent Wound Care Coordinator to join their growing team. This role involves overseeing wound care services, collaborating with other departments to develop and guide treatments, and providing education for staff, patients, and their family members and caretakers.
Requirements
- Must have an active GA or compact state RN License
- 1+ years of experience as a wound care registered nurse is required
- Must be willing to obtain continuous wound care education through seminars, joining professional organizations, or related
Responsibilities
- Oversee wound care services
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and guide treatments
- Provide education for staff on wound care topics
- Provide education for patients and their family members and caretakers
