About The Position

Neulife Rehabilitation of Florida is seeking an experienced and dedicated Wound Care Treatment Nurse (RN) to join their team in Mount Dora. This position is ideal for a highly skilled nurse with a strong background in complex patient care and rehabilitation. The ideal candidate must hold an active Florida RN license and have a strong clinical background in ICU and/or acute care settings. Experience with specialized treatments is required, including PEG tubes, tracheostomy care, and suprapubic catheters. The nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive wound care, performing detailed patient assessments, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. Additional valuable nursing skills include IV therapy, infection control, central line care, ventilator support, accurate documentation, and strong critical thinking and communication abilities.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• ICU and/or acute care experience required
• Hands-on experience with PEG tubes
• Hands-on experience with Tracheostomy (trach) care
• Hands-on experience with Suprapubic catheters
• Strong clinical skills
• Strong assessment skills
• Strong documentation skills
