Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert wound care following healthcare organization policies.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust individualized patient care plans.
• Assess, record, and communicate changes in patient conditions.
• Act as primary liaison across disciplines for seamless patient outcomes.
• Note and accurately carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate post-care needs with the healthcare team.
• Teach patients and caregivers proper at-home wound management.
