Wound Care Physician - El Paso, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Wound Care Physician for their El Paso, TX location. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance, featuring no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The company provides physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
- Participate in a 6-month wound care fellowship.
