About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a role focused on wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians will provide bedside wound care, conduct weekly rounds, and utilize cutting-edge technologies and wound care modalities. The position offers significant autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance, with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Comprehensive training, including a wound fellowship, is provided to ensure expertise in wound care. This is a mobile practice requiring travel within a 40-60 mile radius, visiting 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
