About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for their El Paso, TX location. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We provide physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship, giving you all the knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week (Part-time opportunities available). Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.

Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
