About The Position

RestorixHealth is hiring a Wound Care Registered Nurse to provide patient care and help restore health and improve quality of life for patients with wounds. The RN uses the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate care to achieve optimal outcomes, working collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit. The position includes ongoing training for nurses who are new to wound care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Valid Registered Nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with wound care patients; training will be provided.
• Prior experience with billing and coding is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required for Magnet Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions according to patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families about wound care processes and issues.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
• Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
