About The Position

Marquis Companies is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join its team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The nurse will provide specialized wound care to promote healing, prevent skin breakdown, and improve resident outcomes through individualized treatment plans. The role involves assessing, treating, and monitoring wounds; collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team; and supporting nursing staff in effective wound care and pressure injury prevention.

Requirements

• Current, active RN or LPN license in the State of Nevada.
• Previous wound care experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute setting.
• Strong knowledge of wound assessment, treatment, documentation, and pressure injury prevention.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Passion for working with the senior population and improving resident outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds and document healing progress.
• Develop and implement wound care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Identify residents at risk for skin breakdown and implement preventative interventions.
• Communicate changes in wound status and treatment needs to appropriate care team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support compliance with wound care standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to promote effective wound care practices and pressure injury prevention.
