About The Position

RestorixHealth is hiring a Wound Care Registered Nurse to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process, with the goal of achieving optimal outcomes for patients with wounds. The RN works collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit, prioritizes nursing actions, and accurately implements physician orders within appropriate time frames. The role includes patient and family education about wound care processes and issues. Training is provided for nurses new to wound care.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, ongoing educational and training opportunities, competitive compensation, and continuous coaching and mentorship. Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required for Magnet Hospitals.
• Valid Registered Nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with wound care patients; training will be provided.
• Prior experience with billing and coding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
• Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
