About The Position
Riverview Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Gadsden, Alabama. The role focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages with patience, care, compassion, and understanding. The NP must hold Wound Care Certification (WCC) or be WOCN certified. This per-diem position is scheduled for Thursdays during the day, with 8-hour shifts. The department is Gadsden Physician Management.
Requirements
- Wound Care Certification (WCC) or WOCN certification.
- MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
- Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- BLS certification upon hire and maintain current certification.
- Previous experience with an electronic health record.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide general care to patients of all ages with patience, care, compassion, and understanding.
- Perform tasks within scope of practice, which may include conducting tests and recording medical histories.
- Provide treatments and assist physicians.
- Enhance public awareness of the importance of health.
- Prescribe medications.
