About The Position
Riverview Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Gadsden, Alabama, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide general care to patients of all ages with patience, care, compassion, and understanding. This role requires Wound Care Certification (WCC or WOCN). The position is per diem, with an eight-hour day shift available on Thursdays only.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialization as an ARNP.
- Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- BLS certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
- Previous experience with an electronic health record.
- Wound Care Certification (WCC or WOCN).
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide general care to patients of all ages with patience, care, compassion, and understanding.
- Perform tasks within the scope of practice, which may include conducting tests and recording medical histories.
- Provide treatments and assist physicians.
- Promote public awareness of the importance of health.
- Prescribe medications.
