About The Position

Baptist Search Partners is excited to partner with Crossroads Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA to find their next Worship Pastor. The Worship Pastor at Crossroads Baptist supports the mission and vision by leading and developing the church’s music and worship ministry, including band, praise team, choir, orchestra, audio, video, and lighting. The Worship Pastor is first a spiritual shepherd not only for the Music Ministry but also the entire church. The Worship Pastor champions biblical, theologically strong, worship through music, aiding in discipling the entire church body. This role helps foster a healthy, Christ-centered environment by serving the congregation, supporting ministry goals, and ensuring effective day-to-day operations within the Music Ministry. Crossroads Baptist Church is a growing, multi-generational church with a clear mission “to glorify God by knowing Him and making Him known as we engage our campus, reach our city, and impact our world.” With average Sunday worship attendance around 1,000, and a broad range of ministry opportunities, the church serves as a strong gospel presence in the community. Those who come to Crossroads immediately feel at home because of the friendly and welcoming culture. Over the past five years, Crossroads has experienced significant growth, navigated space needs, initiated a capital campaign, and is building a new Family Life Center, the first of several phases of campus development. A more detailed job description will be provided during the interview process.
