About The Position

Renovation Church is establishing a new location in East Bethel in early 2027 and is seeking a gifted Worship Leader. This role requires a passion for worship through music, strong lead vocal abilities, and a robust musical background to develop the worship team. The position is part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, with a compensation of $25 per hour.

• Giftedness and Abilities: Must be a reliable self-starter, delegator, adaptable leader, and team player. Ability to identify needed refinements and activate changes. Strong ability to organize and follow through with ongoing tasks. Passion and knowledge in regards to music and leading worship. A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading worship through singing.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to navigate church or facility buildings, often including steps. Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and bending. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

• Proficient to lead worship from one or multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Lead Worship: Lead worship on Sunday mornings, ensuring the space and materials are adequately prepared for the worship experience. Choose weekly setlists, partner with production on necessary setup, and lead worship team rehearsals.
• Lead the Worship Department: Contribute to the music selection process aligned with Renovation Church's overall vision of worship. Plan and execute worship nights throughout the year. Help ensure the development of ministry leadership. Assist on creative projects for church events.
• Worship Department Administration: Recruit, train, and manage all volunteers and worship team members. Maintain stage and backstage areas, ensuring all needs are met for excellent worship. Develop and implement resourcing initiatives to further empower volunteers.
