About The Position

The Clarks Summit Worship Leader's primary role is to serve the greater vision of LCBC Church, which is introducing people to Jesus and helping them to fully follow him. This role involves leading worship services, recruiting and training musicians and artists, managing volunteers, and contributing creatively to the worship department. The position requires a commitment to spiritual development, supporting the church's mission and values, and participating in various church events and initiatives.

Requirements

The Worship Leader’s primary role is to serve the greater vision of LCBC Church (introducing people to Jesus and together fully following him).
Can articulate an identifiable salvation experience and lives out a pattern of spiritual development and regular attendance and participation at LCBC.
Supports LCBC’s mission, priorities, philosophy of ministry, and doctrinal statement.
Supports LCBC’s core values: we run after the one; we pursue excellence; we prioritize relationships; we deploy people for impact; we are real and relatable.
Displays a winning attitude and a spirit of cooperation; communicates truth with grace; prays about everything; and has a willingness to serve on a team.
Shows a desire to grow, develop, and mature, both spiritually and professionally.
Exhibits pride in the image of LCBC as it reflects on the image of Christ portrayed to attendees, staff, and guests.
Be an LCBC Partner or willing to become a Partner within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Commit to leading worship 46-48 weekends per year.
Carry out the weekend plan on location with excellence, passion, and authenticity.
Recruit, train and pastor a community of musicians and artists, who are gifted, prepared, connected, healthy and growing.
Schedule volunteers with consistency and timeliness using Planning Center Online.
Take initiative to stay up-to-date on all centrally planning elements for weekend gatherings and special events.
Provide weekly communication to volunteers about weekend gathering information and programming details.
Intentionally connect with all volunteers on your team at least 3 times a year (1 of the connections will identify goals for growth).
Assist Worship Department in cultivating a worship culture that is God honoring, engaging, and accessible to those who are far from God, as well as challenging and encouraging to those who are Christ followers.
Contribute creatively to the Worship Department in areas such as Song Development and Research, Creative Elements and moments for weekend gatherings, Special gathering elements (Christmas, Easter, Campaign, etc.), Best practices and team management ideas, and Songwriting.
Attend and contribute to Worship Department meetings and projects which include, but are not limited to: Weekly Worship Department meetings, Regional Team meetings, Worship Department Bible Study, Music Recordings, Nights of Worship, DEVELUP Program, Outdoor Worship Nights.
Participate in staff meetings and location specific events/initiatives such as Growth Track classes, conferences, outdoor worship nights, etc.
Assist in Pastoral Care by serving on the PRT (Pastoral Response Team) rotation, and provide music and programming for weddings and funerals.
Participate in “All-Church” functions and events such as: All Staff Huddles, All Staff Meetings, LCBC U, Capital Campaigns, Conferences, etc.
