About The Position

The Workshop Coordinator coordinates, supervises, and leads entrepreneurship business development training and technical assistance, including coaching, mentorship, and incubation supports for BACR entrepreneurs. The role develops and maintains partner relationships, works with consultants and staff to provide quality coaching, promotes programs, and oversees participant records and grant progress communications. The coordinator also plans and hosts pitch events and community events, coordinates workshops for youth participants, and supervises youth facilitators. The position represents BACR at partnership events, participates in staff meetings, and attends professional development trainings and workshops. Nice To Haves

One or more years of supervision experience.
One or more years of experience in youth development, specifically serving youth and transitional-aged youth.
Experience working with undocumented and/or immigrant youth.
Fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, supervise, and lead entrepreneurship business development training and technical assistance, including entrepreneurship coaching, mentorship, and incubation supports.
Develop and maintain partner relationships to strengthen BACR’s entrepreneurial reputation and build a support network for BACR entrepreneurs.
Collaborate with consultants and staff to ensure quality coaching services for BACR entrepreneurs.
Conduct marketing and program promotion, including developing marketing materials, updating social media accounts, and conducting outreach and recruitment.
Update case files, review participants’ funding and progress reports, and communicate with the manager to ensure timely payment of grantees.
Plan and host SEED pitch events and other BACR community events.
Coordinate and supervise job-readiness and life-skills workshops for incoming youth participants preparing for employment in BACR youth workforce programs.
Ensure documentation of training attendance and survey data.
Provide external workshop services upon request.
Supervise a small team of youth facilitators, ensuring engaging work-based learning and professional development opportunities, monitoring performance, and supporting contract deliverables.
Represent BACR at networking and partnership meetings and events.
Attend bi-weekly staff meetings for case conferencing and programmatic discussions.
Attend trainings and workshops for professional development to better serve participants.
Perform other duties as assigned.
