As a Workplace Mental Health Consultant, you will provide individual therapy to employees, management consultations, trainings, peer group sessions, critical incident response, and assessment and referral mental health support to employees at a global technology company. You may also provide consultation to HR, program managers, and people leaders on workplace and organizational issues. This role will report to the Spring Health Clinical Manager.

Requirements

  • You hold an unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in Colorado (e.g., Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC). Applicants requiring clinical supervision cannot be considered.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience, including at least 1 year practicing independently.
  • You have experience delivering management consultation, critical incident response, and workplace training or presentations.
  • You are experienced in evidence-based modalities, including short-term, solution-focused therapy.
  • You are comfortable providing safety planning and intervention for individuals presenting with elevated risk.
  • You are committed to high-quality, timely documentation and adherence to compliance standards.
  • You are comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical care navigators.
  • You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and can effectively engage managers, leaders, and diverse employee populations.
  • You are comfortable working across organizational levels, including people leaders and individual contributors.
  • You embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion in your work with both clients and teams.
  • You are comfortable with technology and telehealth platforms.
  • You have reliable home WiFi and a personal device to support multi-factor authentication (2FA) requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Mental Health First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation and support to executive leaders, managers, Employee Resource Networks, teams, and employees to enhance wellbeing and workplace effectiveness onsite Monday through Thursday in Westminster, CO, from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. MT and virtually on Fridays from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. MT.
  • Travel to other customer locations as needed to support onsite employees (5–10% travel expected).
  • Deliver individual therapy sessions both onsite and virtually, using evidence-based, short-term, solution-focused approaches.
  • Provide solution-focused consultations and connect employees to appropriate mental health and wellbeing resources.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders, HR partners, and key stakeholders, and execute against an organization-specific action plan.
  • Provide management consultation to support leaders in addressing employee wellbeing and performance-related concerns.
  • Complete management referral intakes, ensure appropriate placement, and guide leaders on EAP protocols and processes.
  • Coordinate and deliver critical incident response, including stabilization, triage, safety planning, and follow-up support.
  • Conduct tailored trainings, workshops, and Spring Health benefit promotion events to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the customer’s benefit ecosystem and available resources to provide effective referrals and navigation support.
  • Identify trends through data and interactions, recommend targeted interventions, and collaborate with customer stakeholders to address workplace needs.
  • Identify and address barriers to care in partnership with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Ensure all required documentation, releases, and coordination with providers, HR, and managers are completed appropriately.
  • Complete accurate, timely documentation of all services and maintain compliance with Spring Health policies and ethical standards.
  • Participate in regular case reviews and ongoing collaboration with the customer’s leadership team.
  • Represent Spring Health professionally and reinforce program goals, parameters, and best practices.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers’ points of contact and internal partners through regular meetings and touchpoints.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the success of the role and program.
