About The Position

Crusoe is opening a new 38,000-square-foot office in Dallas and is seeking an experienced Workplace Manager to establish and lead the site from its inception. This is a key role with significant responsibility and visibility, focused on managing the Dallas office launch, implementing operational systems and partnerships, and ensuring an outstanding experience for all stakeholders. The role involves scaling workplace programs as the office grows, setting a precedent for future site launches. The Workplace Manager will report to the Regional Workplace Manager and collaborate with People, IT, Security, and Finance departments. As the Dallas office expands, this role will include hiring, managing, and developing a Workplace Coordinator. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a five-day work week in the Dallas office.

Requirements

  • Experience opening a new office, leading a build-out, or managing a significant office expansion is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing workplace budgets, vendor contracts, landlord and building management relationships, and operational programs.
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports with a focus on accountability, service, and growth.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across People, IT, Security, Finance, and other teams.
  • A hospitality-first mindset and strong executive presence.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating independently, solving problems, and building structure in an environment without established playbooks.
  • A hands-on operator who takes ownership, stays calm under pressure, and is motivated by building something from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Dallas office launch and build-out, including design, space planning, vendor selection, and ensuring readiness for opening on time and within budget.
  • Oversee daily workplace operations, establishing scalable systems, processes, and standards to maintain a safe, functional, and polished office environment.
  • Manage relationships with building management and vendors, acting as the main point of contact for facilities, maintenance, service issues, contracts, and performance, and establishing emergency response protocols.
  • Manage the workplace budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, vendor spend, and cost optimization strategies that do not compromise the employee experience.
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality and visitor experiences by overseeing front-of-house operations, visitor management, and executive/customer visits.
  • Manage food, beverage, and office amenities, including daily meal and snack programs, catering, and vendor performance.
