About The Position

As a Workplace Health and Wellness Consultant, you play a key role in designing, implementing, and evolving a comprehensive service offering aimed at promoting health, well-being, and prevention within the organization. You develop and deploy programs and initiatives aligned with strategic directions, leveraging data analysis to measure impact and ensure continuous improvement. As a point of contact, you address psychosocial risk issues, coordinate prevention actions, and follow up on certain files, including claims (e.g., CNESST), and support managers and stakeholders. You also contribute to the management of corporate programs, notably the employee assistance program and telemedicine service, while collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure optimal handling of accommodation, return-to-work, and disability files. Finally, you coordinate the "Entreprise en santé" certification process, ensure best practices and legal requirements are met, and act as a key player in promoting an organizational culture that fosters overall health and good human resources management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health and well-being related field (human resources management, psychology, or other relevant field).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a service company.
  • Excellent knowledge of mental health, ergonomics, and risk prevention.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively.
  • Strong interest in promoting overall health in the workplace.
  • Mastery of the French language, both oral and written.
  • Intermediate to advanced mastery of the English language, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and deploy programs to meet current and future employee health and well-being needs.
  • Develop and implement a global health service offering, including prevention and workplace well-being management initiatives.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using indicators and analyses, produce reports, and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Act as a resource person for psychosocial risks, coordinate prevention actions, and follow up on certain files, including claims (e.g., CNESST).
  • Implement and facilitate awareness activities (workshops, training, campaigns) focusing on psychological health and psychosocial risks.
  • Serve as the point of contact for the employee assistance program and telemedicine service.
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts to enrich initiatives (psychologists, kinesiologists, nutritionists, etc.).
  • Work closely with health and safety teams to ensure optimal management of accommodation, return-to-work, and disability files.
  • Lead health and well-being committees and coordinate the "Entreprise en santé" standard certification process.
  • Ensure compliance of practices and policies with applicable laws and best practices in occupational health.
  • Monitor trends and best practices in organizational health and contribute to various related projects.
