About The Position

This role requires being in our Austin, TX office full-time, 5 days a week. You'll be the heartbeat of our Austin office — the person who makes sure our culture, our people, and our workspace all thrive together. You'll have real ownership over employee experience and office operations, working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where no two days look the same. As a member of our global HR team, you'll be responsible for the welfare of employees at your assigned location, helping preserve and advocate for our company's culture and values as we grow. You'll play a key role in employee retention and in creating an environment that fosters wellbeing and success. The ideal candidate is a hard-working professional who can balance a variety of HR and office operations tasks and thrives in a dynamic startup environment. Requirements

  • 3+ years managing employee engagement activities at a global high-tech company
  • Experience leading and organizing an office or workplace
  • Vendor management experience
  • A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Own the onboarding experience, making sure every new hire feels welcomed and set up for success from day one
  • Build the yearly recreation budget and create a plan that accounts for all locations and needs
  • Coordinate and lead employee engagement initiatives with the HR team
  • Administer exits for your assigned location(s) and provide insights to the HRBP team
  • Manage events for all employees, onsite and remote
  • Partner with the Global Employee Experience team to build a wellbeing strategy aligned with business needs
  • Support the HR team on local employee relations, engagement, and HR business partnership matters
  • Manage community involvement and volunteer activities alongside local office leaders
  • Prepare and organize travel plans and arrangements
  • Help implement company events, large and small
  • Support remote employees with administrative needs
  • Maintain office and kitchen supplies, and coordinate refreshments for the office and meetings
  • Serve as the point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, and the general office budget
  • Manage relationships with facilities service providers and landlords
  • Handle seating plans, furniture, and equipment procurement; manage logistics for meetings and conference rooms
  • Own vendor relationships and process optimization, including vendor transitions and negotiations
