About The Position

The Workplace Experience Project Manager leads planning and delivery of construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects across Solidigm’s Rancho Cordova headquarters. The role is the primary project leader for R&D lab and office buildouts and site improvements, managing projects from planning through completion and ensuring alignment with safety, schedule, budget, quality, and business requirements. It requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The position is based at Solidigm Headquarters in Rancho Cordova, California, and requires an on-site presence five days per week. The role partners with internal functions and external project teams to deliver workplace projects and improve project management processes and workplace delivery practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a related field.
8–12 years of commercial construction project management experience.
Demonstrated experience managing workplace, corporate office, R&D lab, or industrial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with budgets ranging from small improvements to large capital investments.
Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, ADA requirements, and workplace safety standards.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Ability to work on site five days per week at Solidigm Headquarters in Rancho Cordova, California.

Nice To Haves

PMP, CCM, LEED, or related professional certification.
Experience in technology, manufacturing, semiconductor, or corporate campus environments.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, MS Project, Box, or similar project management tools.
Experience with workplace strategy, occupancy planning, and team member experience initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end management of workplace construction and renovation projects for labs and offices, from concept through occupancy.
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource planning.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
Oversee tenant improvements, lab and office renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and corporate standards.
Plan strategically for offices and labs.
Manage contractor selection, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and project execution.
Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and proactively resolve project issues.
Track project budgets, approve invoices, manage change orders, and provide financial reporting.
Partner with Facilities, IT, Security, EHS, HR, and business leaders to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop and maintain project documentation, schedules, status reports, and executive presentations.
Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranty management, and lessons learned.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, standards, and workplace delivery practices.
