We are seeking an experienced Workplace Receptionist to manage and oversee all reception desk workplace-related activities and operations, ensuring a safe, secure, and functional work environment for our employees. As a Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact. Our Coordinator’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and managing day-to-day projects to enhance the experience. To be successful as a Coordinator, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and problem solving are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. The ideal candidate will have endless curiosity and can pair a global mindset with locally relevant execution. You should be a gritty problem solver and self-starter who can drive programs with the product and commercial teams within the organization and across external strategic partner organizations. The successful candidate will display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years reception experience required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess professionalism and friendly, team player personality.
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
  • Competency in multi-tasking.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • High school diploma/GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in Jira, OfficeSpace, Zoom, Slack, Canva (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Answering telephones, greeting, registering, and directing visitors and guests.
  • Maintain regular desk coverage hours (8:30am-5pm) Monday – Thursday, (9am-5pm) on Fridays to develop good communication and a positive community environment with Roku employees.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance / demeanor, and an organized reception area.
  • Office event coordination and planning
  • Room Calendar Management
  • Manage access to badges/fobs.
  • Additional general office support tasks as assigned.
  • Adhere to office budget and spend process
  • Coordinate new hire packets and seating assignments
