About The Position

The part-time Workplace and Office Manager is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient office environment while supporting employee experience and day-to-day workplace operations. This role oversees office administration, facilities, events, vendor coordination, and basic technical support to ensure the office runs smoothly.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in office administration or office management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting basic office technology and coordinating with external vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of the office by overseeing incoming mail, maintaining office and kitchen supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring shared spaces remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Plan and coordinate office events, virtual events, employee celebrations, team gatherings, and other engagement initiatives, managing logistics, vendors, catering, and event setup.
  • Provide first-level support for common office technology needs, including laptop setup, printers, conference room equipment, and basic hardware troubleshooting, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for building management, maintenance providers, and office vendors by coordinating repairs, office access, preventative maintenance, and facility-related requests.
  • Provide administrative support across Office Operations and People Operations while assisting with ad hoc projects and operational initiatives as needed.
