About The Position

As a working student in Affiliate Marketing for one of Feather's key insurance partnerships, you will be responsible for managing the existing affiliate network and onboarding new affiliates. You will handle the day-to-day relationships with affiliates in German and English. This is a working student role (~5 hours/week) on a one-year contract, ideal for a university student seeking practical marketing experience alongside their studies. Feather is dedicated to building insurance that truly matters to customers, focusing on a fully digital experience, modern and flexible plans, and reliable human support, specifically for expats living abroad.

Requirements

Currently enrolled as an advanced Bachelor’s or early Master’s student at a German university (eligible for Werkstudent status).
Some experience in affiliate marketing, partnership management, or a similar relationship-focused role.
Comfortable maintaining relationships via email, calls, and video calls.
Proficient with everyday software tools (Slack, Notion, Google Suite, and similar) and able to learn new tools quickly.
Takes initiative and can manage workload independently.
Fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

Manage the existing affiliate network for the partnership, acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day questions and onboarding new affiliates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates to ensure the partnership runs smoothly.
Monitor affiliate performance, identify issues early, and provide clear, simple reporting to the team.
Handle commission payments, regular financial reporting, and reconciliation for the partnership, maintaining accurate records.
Use good judgment to handle issues directly or escalate them appropriately without close supervision.
