About The Position

Roadrunner Services is seeking a dependable, proactive Working Site Supervisor to oversee daily vehicle transport operations at its Baltimore–Washington location in Elkridge, Maryland. The supervisor works closely with an off-site local Market Manager while taking ownership of day-to-day operations. This hands-on role includes coordinating staffing, supporting drivers, maintaining customer relationships, and helping meet production and service goals. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, at $20.00 per hour. The position is a 1099 independent contractor role.

• Have reliable attendance and availability during the stated operating hours.
• Be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory, logistics, transportation, or automotive experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a passenger van to transport drivers throughout the auction lot and between nearby vehicle storage locations.
• Coordinate daily staffing and ensure sufficient drivers are available to meet customer volume and production goals.
• Conduct new driver orientations and ensure proper training and onboarding.
• Manage and verify accurate daily time entries.
• Communicate daily with the auction customer to maintain strong relationships and ensure service expectations are met.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to drivers while promoting teamwork, accountability, and safety.
• Communicate operational updates, staffing needs, and concerns to the Market Manager.
