About The Position

Interstate is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Lead/Working Supervisor to work at a client site. The role combines janitorial duties with leading and motivating staff, training new employees as directed, and responding to emergency calls. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, and a team player. The schedule is 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Sunday through Wednesday. Pay is $17.00 per hour. Duties may be modified or amended and may include other related tasks.

Requirements

• Knowledge of chemicals and equipment.
• Fluent in English, including reading, writing, and communicating.
• Reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently and bend.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Dust and wet mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash can linings.
• Train new employees as directed.
• Respond to emergency calls and resolve problems.
• Lead and motivate staff at the assigned account.
• Manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
