We are looking for a full-time Working Foreman to join our team on a multi-family, wood-frame project currently under construction in Lake Country, BC. Requirements

  • 5+ years leadership experience in multi-family construction.
  • Journeyman Carpenter (or equivalent skill set) with ability to manage multiple scopes of work.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Comfortable using standard computer programs (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Bluebeam).
  • Good physical conditioning and stamina.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Satisfactory credit and criminal record check.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced First Aid an asset.
  • Ticketed on skid steer, rough terrain forklift, boom lifts, and/or excavator an asset.
  • Valid safety and equipment certifications (Fire stop installation, Hilti Rebar Installation, Fall Arrest, Hoisting & Rigging, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Manage self-performed scope including safety, material organization, quality, cleanliness, and removal of roadblocks to facilitate project schedule.
  • Provide daily direction to crew on self-performing scopes.
  • Lead by example with hands-on work (approx. 80%) while balancing planning, coaching, and administrative duties (approx. 20%).
  • Perform quality checks before beginning any self-performed tasks.
  • Communicate material, tool, and equipment requirements prior to job start.
  • Complete material take-offs, place orders, and manage deliveries to align with project schedules.
  • Manage roadblocks, team capacity, and scheduling to ensure self-performed tasks are completed on time.
  • Direct, manage, and mentor Carpenters and Site Dynamos (Labourers).
  • Attend daily foreman meetings and collaborate with site leadership to align on priorities.

  • Annual Salary: $80,000-$105,000 dependent on experience
