About The Position

EssilorLuxottica is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. The Shared Services Team supports various parts of the business to achieve targets and ensure smooth operations. This role is responsible for the workforce planning of doctors (ODs), including labor scheduling, forecasting, and trend analysis. It also involves process improvement for employed doctor onboarding, credentialing, and new technology setup. The role requires a strategic understanding of business processes combined with detailed problem-solving and execution capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in business analysis or workforce planning environment
  • Strong self-starter able to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and customer-service focus
  • Strong organizational/time management skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Analytical experience in making operational recommendations or return on investment analysis
  • Critical thinking ability to assimilate disparate information, construct hypotheses and formulate recommendations

  • Available nights and weekends, as needed
  • Rotate on-call schedule

Responsibilities

  • Lead decision-making related to employed doctor (OD) scheduling, related technology, doctor onboarding process improvement and process documentation
  • Own the accuracy and effectiveness of employed doctor scheduling including hours forecast, predictability, and timely resolution of open schedules
  • Identify and manage remote and in-person doctor synergies across all locations, utilizing forecasts and analytics to provide appropriate coverage for each store
  • Identify, measure, and revise labor standards to identify sales growth opportunities
  • Manage prioritization process with all brand leaders and Regional Eye Care Directors to ensure accuracy of store needs and critical location alignment
  • Create trusting relationships with leadership team, internal and external stakeholders as well as ODs, Managing Doctors (MODs), and Regional Eye Care Directors
  • Analyze results/issues, identify trends/variances, determine root-cause and quantify potential impacts to overall plans
  • Oversee and create OD work schedules and PTO records for assigned markets
  • Respond quickly to unplanned situations that result in open schedule gaps; being available evenings, weekends and holidays (when stores are open), if necessary
  • Develop methodology and functionality to automate and streamline Kronos Scheduling while identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Provide support for special projects as assigned
