About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, engaging Instructor of Industrial Maintenance to join our instructional team on a part time, as needed basis. In this role, you will deliver high quality technical training that prepares adult learners to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate brings expertise in mechanical systems, basic electrical components, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventative maintenance. This position plays a key role in supporting regional manufacturing partners and building a skilled maintenance workforce.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related technical field
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Must comply with PA Act 15, presenting completed clearances and training certificates at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• 3+ years of experience teaching or training adult learners

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Instruction
• Deliver engaging instruction in mechanical systems, basic electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
• Reinforce OSHA safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, hazard recognition, and safe equipment operation
• Provide meaningful, timely feedback on learner performance
• Instructional Preparation & Administration
• Record attendance and maintain accurate course documentation
• Develop lesson plans aligned with employer and industry standards
• Performs other duties as assigned.
