About The Position

The Workforce Development Coordinator oversees the full lifecycle of contracted training services, from planning and promotion, through delivery and evaluation. The coordinator also connects graduates of non credit career training programs with employment opportunities, assists training clients with accessing grant funds, supports workforce testing activities, assists with Continuing Education initiatives, and compiles data to evaluate program performance.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in education, business or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Initiative-taking, dependable, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing and able to travel to various campuses and client sites.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in instructional design, adult learning, or teaching is a plus.
