By maintaining data integrity, coordinating workforce transactions, and supporting workforce planning processes, the coordinator contributes to a highly effective nursing workforce that enables the delivery of world-class patient care.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in workforce administration, staff records, healthcare operations, or a related function.
  • Experience working with HRIS or workforce management systems and employee data.
  • Knowledge of records management, documentation standards, and data integrity practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Process workforce transactions, including hires, transfers, status changes, leaves of absence, and separations.
  • Support Nurse Workforce Planning initiatives through timely and accurate staff record maintenance.
  • Review and validate employee documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and leaders regarding staff records and workforce administration processes.
  • Manage electronic personnel files, document retention activities, and records organization.
  • Generate workforce-related reports and provide data support for audits and operational reviews.
  • Partner with Payroll and nursing leadership to ensure accurate workforce information and seamless operations.
  • Identify and support process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
