Grand Canyon University (GCU) partners with nonprofit organizations, specifically 501(c)(3) organizations, to offer student worker positions that contribute to improving the quality of life for community residents. This particular role is a partnership with St. Joseph the Worker, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering individuals facing significant obstacles to achieve long-term stability through quality employment. The student worker's schedule will align with the operational hours and needs of St. Joseph the Worker, with a maximum of 20 hours per week during the academic year. Opportunities to work during the summer are also available for eligible students. This position is classified as Community Service (CSLP) as defined by federal regulations, meaning the services provided are intended to benefit non-GCU community members, particularly low-income individuals, and address community needs. Applicants must complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be reviewed for Federal Work-Study (FWS) eligibility.
