This position is available with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education. The Workforce and Economic Development Coordinator will serve as a coordinator between the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education (ODCTE) and administrators of technology centers and their Workforce and Economic Development (WED) divisions, other agencies, and administrative entities involved with the delivery of career and technology education. This role will also serve as a liaison for Adult Career Development (ACD) programs statewide. The coordinator will assist in convening relevant partner groups to support the system's strategic purposes and goals set by the State Director/State Board of Career and Technology Education. Knowledge of the administration and operation of career and technology education, WED, ACD, and small business programs, as well as the policies and procedures of ODCTE WED and/or ACD services, is required.
