About The Position

Acrisure’s Next Level Administrators is seeking an experienced Lost Time Adjuster to join its Workers’ Compensation Claims Department in Tennessee. The adjuster reviews lost-time claims and determines appropriate actions for resolution. The role conducts thorough investigations to determine compensability and identify potential recovery opportunities, oversees medical management, collaborates with case managers, legal counsel, and clients, and develops strategic action plans to move claims toward timely and effective resolution.

Requirements

Three years of Tennessee workers’ compensation lost-time claims handling experience.
Active Tennessee Workers’ Compensation License.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across various systems and programs.
Ability to provide professional, responsive, customer-focused service.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Proactive mindset, with the ability to identify required next steps and take appropriate action independently.
Candidates residing outside Tennessee must hold an active Tennessee license.
Comfort with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

Manage a desk and caseload of claims efficiently and professionally.
Thoroughly investigate claims, including coverage, liability, and exposure.
Evaluate exposures and maintain accurate, timely reserves on all files.
Control and manage litigation issues.
Evaluate claims for settlement and negotiate with claimants and attorneys to resolve claims appropriately and promptly.
Control and manage medical issues.
Evaluate claims for resolution.
Keep claim files consistently documented and updated.
Ensure all payments are appropriate, timely, and accurate.
