Responsible for administering leaves of absence, including workers' compensation claims. Provides advice, recommendations and claim status communications to employees and managers to ensure leaves of absences are handled in an equitable and consistent manner under EvergreenHealth’s policy and according to governing state and federal laws. Performs vendor management duties overseeing third party claims administration, administering claims within EvergreenHealth’s processes and staff, and coordinates significant claims with HR Business Partner. Administers leaves of absences by coordinating with managers, injured workers, third party claim representatives, vocational rehabilitation counselors, and others to achieve effective and efficient claim/leave processing.
