About The Position

At Kognitiv Inc., we’re redefining what it means to be a Workday partner. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the ecosystem, we bring deep expertise, innovative thinking, and a people-first mindset to everything we do. We’re not just building better Workday solutions—we’re building a company where talented people thrive. Ready to do your best work? Join us. Our Workday Student Practice is lean, rapidly growing, and ready for team members who wants to do more than just "support" a module. We’re looking for Workday Student experts who wants to help us build the blueprint. If you’ve ever felt like your ideas for process improvement get lost in a sea of corporate red tape, it’s time to join a team where your influence is the engine of our growth. The Mission As a Workday Student Architect/Consultant, you aren’t just a technical resource; you’re a strategic partner. You will lead medium-to-large implementations and post-production initiatives, ensuring our global clients aren’t just using Workday Student, but mastering it. Because our team is growing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the function. You’ll mentor junior talent, define our "best practices," and help us innovate how we deploy Student solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in the Workday ecosystem (Implementing, Post-Production/AMS, or at a Client).
  • You have a "black belt" in Student Core, Security, and Reporting, plus at least one other specialty (Financials, Financial Aid, Admissions, Academic Advising, Student Records, etc.).
  • You’ve led projects from initial scoping through go-live and can manage multiple parallel projects without breaking a sweat.
  • You can explain complex technical dependencies to a non-technical stakeholder and influence a room toward a solution.
  • You’re excited about the "small team" vibe because it means less bureaucracy and more opportunity to leave your mark.

Responsibilities

  • Architect Solutions: Design, configure, and deploy Workday Student in a way that actually solve the unique headaches of higher-ed institutions.
  • Be the Expert in the Room: Lead client sessions to dig into their true needs. You’ll advise on best practices while being flexible enough to pivot when their needs change.
  • Lead & Mentor: You’ll manage project scope and quality while coaching less experienced team members. Your success is measured by the growth of the people around you.
  • Innovate the Practice: We don’t want "the way it’s always been done." We want your "lessons learned" to become our new standard operating procedure.
  • Problem Solve: Identify the "why" behind the "what." You’ll perform deep-dive research into complex issues and present corrective measures that stick.
