About The Position

The Workday Senior HRIS Analyst will act as the primary application administrator for Workday HCM, providing advanced support, configuration, maintenance, and system administration. This role involves troubleshooting complex application issues, leading resolution efforts, and ensuring thorough documentation. The analyst will translate business requirements into technical solutions, lead the evaluation and deployment of Workday enhancements, and provide advanced user support and training. A key aspect of this role is partnering with stakeholders to improve user experience and process efficiency through Workday configuration and policy guidance. The analyst will also perform key Workday processes such as Annual Enrollment, Performance Reviews, and Talent Management, and proactively work to improve HR data quality. This position requires the ability to document system changes for compliance and to share knowledge within the HRIS team, potentially leading small project teams and serving as an escalation point for HRIS tickets.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of HRIS experience
  • Workday HCM highly preferred
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze business and technical processes and identify improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail, accuracy, and poise under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance in accordance with assigned work schedule.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technology and gain proficiency in Workday advancements with minimal supervision.
  • Must have collaborative work style.
  • Must be able to maintain strictest confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary application administrator for Workday HCM, performing advanced support, configuration, maintenance and system administration.
  • Independently troubleshoot complex application issues, lead resolution efforts, and ensures timely and complete documentation.
  • Independently gathers, analyzes, and refines business requirements; translates them into effective technical solutions.
  • Leads evaluation, testing, and deployment of Workday enhancements, patches, and bi-annual releases.
  • Provides advanced user support, develops training materials, and promotes adoption of Workday capabilities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to maintain Workday by identifying and implementing process improvements, and guide policy changes to improve user experience and process efficiency.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and design Workday configuration needs to meet changing demands.
  • Perform key processes within Workday, while utilizing independent judgement to include but not limited to: Annual Enrollment, Performance Reviews, Talent Management.
  • Proactively identify areas where HR data is not up to date and work with HR partners to suggest and implement ways to improve data quality.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to configuration, business processes and security in Workday.
  • Document system changes for internal change management and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Share knowledge in the Employee Services team and cross train within the HRIS team.
  • Serve on or lead small project teams.
  • Serve as point of escalation for HRIS tickets within the ticketing system.
