About The Position

The fully remote Research Analyst position reports to the Director of Institutional Research, Planning & Assessment. This position will provide information, reporting, data management, and decision support to the Office of Institutional Research, Planning & Assessment, to the University community, and to external constituents and stakeholders.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, learn various data sources and make appropriate choices about their use, meet deadlines and accurately handle details, and adhere to Federal, State, and University policies regarding access to, use of, and release of confidential information is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Workday reporting (HCM, Payroll, Finance, and Student).

Nice To Haves

  • HCM Reporting Certification or Financials Reporting Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Under limited supervision, the analyst will extract, compile, analyze and report institutional data on students, courses, personnel, finance and other aspects of the university as requested from Workday.
  • Design, develop, and maintain a variety of Workday reports, dashboards, and reporting tools, including but not limited to standard, custom, composite, and matrix reports, while adhering to business requirements and best practices.
  • Querying internal databases; manipulating and evaluating data; filling ad-hoc data requests, preparing interpretive analyses and presenting findings in narrative and graphic forms; and effectively interacting with the university community and external constituencies.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
