About The Position

We are seeking a Workday QA professional to support a multi‑wave Workday implementation, with responsibility for testing Workday HCM modules and integrations across key go‑live milestones. This role focuses on validating end‑to‑end business processes, data accuracy, and system readiness using standard Workday connectors and native integration tools, with select data integrations supported through Informatica and Snowflake. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, phased implementation environment. You will collaborate closely with functional teams, integration and data partners, implementation vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure high‑quality releases, support UAT cycles, and deliver reliable Workday solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years focused on Workday implementations or post-production support.
  • Hands-on experience testing Workday integrations, including: Standard / Core Connectors, Native tools (Workday Studio, EIB, PECI/PICOF).
  • Experience validating data flows involving external platforms (e.g., Snowflake), including file-based or ETL-supported integrations.
  • Familiarity with or exposure to Informatica for data integration and transformation testing (QA focus; development experience not required).
  • Experience working in Agile, phased, or wave-based implementation environments.
  • Strong documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Technically fluent but able to communicate clearly in business terms.
  • Collaborative team player who builds alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Self-directed with strong ownership mentality — able to manage priorities and deliver in a fast-moving environment.
  • Must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience testing Workday HCM modules such as LMS, Compensation, Talent, Succession Planning, or People Analytics (strong plus).

Responsibilities

  • Support QA efforts across two implementation waves, including LMS, Employee Voice (Peakon), Advanced Compensation, People Analytics, Succession Planning, and Talent Reviews.
  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites for Workday modules and integrations.
  • Validate inbound and outbound integrations, primarily through standard Workday connectors, as well as select integrations leveraging Informatica for Snowflake-based data flows.
  • Perform end-to-end integration testing, including: Data mapping and transformation validation, Error handling and reconciliation, Payload, report, and downstream data accuracy checks.
  • Test integrations built using native Workday tools (Workday Studio, EIB, PECI/PICOF, and Core Connectors).
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution in close coordination with functional and technical teams.
  • Partner with implementation teams, data/integration teams, and business stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage across all go-live milestones.
  • Support UAT cycles, including defect triage, retesting, and preparation of sign-off documentation ahead of each wave deployment.
