About The Position

From initial assessments to entire transformations, you'll deliver Workday solutions to equip organizations with the information they need to optimize their Workday environments. As a Workday HCM Optimization Manager at Guidehouse, you will manage the Optimization program for the Workday Practice. This includes activities related to production support, planned assessments, and Phase X deployments. You will be responsible for leading the design and development of solutions for our customers who are optimizing their Workday tenant or in a Phase X deployment. You will be hands-on for assigned projects helping to streamline client processes, lead optimization sessions, capture client requirements, build/configure creative solutions, and work with other Workday consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of experience using Workday HCM or other ERPs in an HCM capacity; OR a Master's degree with a MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of experience using Workday HCM or other ERPs in an HCM capacity. Years of experience can be substituted for a formal degree, such as no degree with NINE (9) years of experience using Workday HCM or other ERPs in an HCM capacity
  • A MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of work experience with Workday
  • Current holder of the following Workday Certifications: HCM Core
  • Experience with the execution of projects within a structured methodology
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (RFP responses, white papers, etc.) and presentation skills such as Workday demonstrations and client presentations

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Public Sector experience preferred
  • Current holder of an active Workday HCM Certification
  • Extensive knowledge using Microsoft products

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients and/or consultants to capture requirements and design documents
  • Guide the team in the design, build, and support testing of Workday modules
  • Actively communicate with other team members on cross functional items
  • Responsible to communicate functional challenges and solutions to internal and client teams
  • Lead in an innovative, teaming culture to enable constant innovation and improvement to processes and assets
  • Demonstrate consultative skills
  • Have a passion for high customer satisfaction levels
