About The Position

Huron's Corporate Workday team is comprised of business-minded technology professionals responsible for the ongoing optimizing of our portfolio through product strategy, solution delivery, and support. Our team partners closely with our business stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities to drive efficiencies and create real outcomes for our business. The Product portfolios focus primarily on Workday but also contain integrations, bots, and other complementary solutions. We partner closely with our client-facing counterparts to share best practices and ensure Huron is at the cutting edge of Workday capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Up to 2 years of experience (including internships) in the areas of the business adjacent to Workday FIN required. This could include financial planning and analysis, finance operations, accounting, or economics.
  • Workday configuration experience a plus, but candidates with the appropriate business knowledge who are proficient at learning and adopting complex systems would also be considered for this role.
  • Excel skills a plus. While most of the work will be in Workday and Adaptive, Excel skills are necessary for assessing load files.
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Flexible living location, remote position with up to 1 week of travel yearly.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a Workday Financials Product Developer - Understand Finance functional areas (Adaptive, Budgets, Procurement, Expenses, and Accounts Payable) and their interconnectivity to other modules, implement solutions to leverage, configure and connect features, functions, and systems.
  • Support our business owners in FP&A, Operations, Procurement, Expenses, Accounts Payable, and other associated teams to understand their needs and develop solutions.
  • Implement new functionality and fixes made available by the weekly and bi-annual Workday releases.
  • Leverage Workday Community to research solutions, contribute Brainstorms, and seek help.
  • Configure and optimize our Workday FIN modules (Adaptive, Budgets, Procurement, Expenses, and Accounts Payable).
  • Troubleshoot system issues and support end-users.
  • Be comfortable working on EIB file loads in Excel
  • Partner with our Integrations, Security, and Reporting teams to support and optimize current offerings and to continue to rollout new functionality.
