About The Position

As part of Guidehouse's Workday Practice, the Financials Solution Architect will join an energized team of advisory professionals to deliver Workday Financial solutions. This role involves equipping organizations with the information they need to make better business decisions, from initial assessments to entire transformations. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of FOUR (4) years of prior Workday Financial implementation experience; OR a Master's degree with a MINIMUM of TWO (2) years of prior Workday Financial implementation experience.
• Years of experience can be substituted for a formal degree, such as NO degree with a MINIMUM of SEVEN (7) years of prior Workday Financial implementation experience
• Workday certification and demonstrated command of at least TWO (2) Workday Financial pillars.
• Experience with the execution of projects within a structured methodology
• Experience in an ERP Software Sales cycle (RFx responses, orals presentations, etc.)
• Up to 50% travel balanced with a work from home and/or Guidehouse office schedule - consultants may provide on-site support for key milestones as needed

Nice To Haves

• A proven role in at least five full Workday Financial implementations
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Strong written and oral communication skills (RFP responses, white papers, etc.) and presentation skills such as Workday demonstrations and client presentations
• Implementations involving deploying within a state or local government is preferred
• Leading Foundation Data Model (FDM) design for state or local government

Responsibilities

• Be a hands-on Financials Solution Architect on assigned projects helping to streamline client process
• Oversee and facilitate Design Sessions, capture client requirements, configure creative solutions, and mentor other junior consultants
• Responsibilities include documentation, configuration, testing support, go-live support, and post-production (hypercare) support
• Participate in an innovative, teaming culture for the team to enable constant innovation
• Strong ability to team with project leadership to communicate challenges and improvements to project processes
• Demonstrate consultative skills
• Have a passion for high customer satisfaction levels
• Participate in sales cycle activities
