Workday Configuration Analyst
About The Position
Snap Inc. is seeking a Workday Configuration Analyst to join their People Team. This role will be responsible for configuring and supporting existing Workday modules, including HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Learning, as well as adding new functionality. The analyst will build out and optimize the Workday ecosystem, conduct thorough testing, and handle projects from design to implementation with minimal supervision. They will also troubleshoot configuration issues, create advanced reports, perform data reconciliations and audits, train junior specialists, and create system documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or closely related, or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field
- 3+ years of Workday configuration experience with Workday modules
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
- Someone who can rely on their previous experiences to plan and accomplish future goals
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and interact with team members at all levels
- Ability to work well under general supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Responsibilities
- Configure and support existing Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning) and add new functionality as necessary
- Build out and optimize our Workday ecosystem
- Thoroughly test configurations through unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) across teams
- Handle projects with ambiguity from design to implementation and often setting your own direction with minimal aid from leadership
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues
- Create advanced reports using complex calculated fields
- Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data integrity
- Train and mentor junior configuration specialists
- Create functional and technical systems documentation
