About The Position

The Squires Group is seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to support a strategic budgeting transformation initiative for our client. This is a client-facing consulting role where you'll partner directly with finance leaders and key stakeholders to redesign, optimize, and enhance an existing Workday Adaptive Planning environment. • Strong experience designing and developing Adaptive Planning models, including complex modeling and planning scenarios.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with client leadership.
  • Ability to travel periodically as project needs require.

  • Experience gathering business requirements, solution design, testing, training, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Prior experience mentoring consultants or leading project teams.
  • Experience with reporting and dashboards is beneficial; however, deep Adaptive Planning modeling expertise is the highest priority.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with client stakeholders to assess and redesign existing Workday Adaptive Planning solutions.

  • Design, build, and enhance complex Adaptive Planning models to improve business performance and planning accuracy.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable planning solutions and recommend best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with finance and business leaders.
  • Configure, test, validate, and deploy Adaptive Planning enhancements.
  • Support user acceptance testing, knowledge transfer, and client adoption.
  • Provide strategic guidance around Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) processes and planning best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members when appropriate and contribute to project success through collaboration and thought leadership.
