About The Position

Rossmönster is a leading custom adventure van and truck camper manufacturer dedicated to crafting unique and high-quality mobile living solutions. With a passion for exploration and a commitment to excellence, we design and build custom vehicles that empower people to get out and enjoy unforgettable adventures. Rossmönster is seeking a Woodshop Upholstery Tech to upholster wall panels and van/truck components, and support sub-assembly of installed components in a fast-paced, collaborative shop environment. This role blends upholstery craftsmanship with general woodshop support, working closely with the rest of the woodshop team.

Requirements

• Comfortable using standard shop and hand tools
• Able to lift 30+ lbs and work in varied positions throughout the day
• Reliable, quality-focused, and detail-oriented
• Team-First Attitude: Communicate well, collaborate across trades, and take pride in contributing to a high-quality finished product.
• Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between tasks and picking up new responsibilities as the shop's needs change day to day.
• Love for Craftsmanship: Care about doing the job right and building work that lasts.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in automotive, marine, or RV upholstery
• Background in van/RV builds or overland vehicles
• Light carpentry or cabinetry experience
• Experience working from templates or drawings

Responsibilities

• Upholster wall panels for custom van and truck builds
• Upholster various van and truck components requiring upholstery work
• Assist with sub-assembly of various installed components
• Work closely with woodshop team members on daily production needs
• Flex into other woodshop responsibilities as workload requires
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
