About The Position
One of the initial points of contact in preparation for Manufacturing. This role will employ care and organizational skill to continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living. The incumbent in this position supports the activities and responsibilities of the Rough Mill department.
Requirements
- Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
- Ability to start up and shut down machine.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and work process procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with other employees.
- Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing, and time management.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete those tasks in a timely manner
- Must be a self starter who works well with others and can follow a list of daily work assignments.
- High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for matching up different types of wood by color and different grain patterns.
- Keep steady flow of work to the Clamp Operator.
