About The Position

RealCraft is hiring a Wood Craftsperson to handcraft custom solid wood doors and wood products at its on-site workshop in Gig Harbor, Washington. The role involves machining, assembling, sanding, preparing, and finishing custom door components using traditional joinery, woodworking machinery, and hand tools. The craftsperson is expected to select materials carefully, maintain high quality and craftsmanship standards, collaborate with the production team to meet customer deadlines, and keep the workspace safe, organized, and efficient. This is physical work requiring time on your feet and lifting up to 75 pounds.

RealCraft is a direct-to-consumer maker of premium solid wood doors and hardware. Its products are handcrafted on-site for architects, designers, and homeowners across the United States, with a mission to return to craftsmanship through genuine materials, customization, and time-honored techniques.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of woodworking experience in a production, carpentry, or manufacturing setting.
• Comfort with hand tools, power tools, and standard woodshop equipment.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.
• Reliable, punctual, and easy to work with.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Craft high-quality custom wood doors and wood products.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Assemble, sand, and prepare products for finishing.
• Ensure all work meets quality and craftsmanship standards.
