Requirements

Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited institution
ARDMS certification in OB/GYN or AB required
Minimum of 1 year of clinical practice in an OB/GYN specialty required
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with patients and team members

Nice To Haves

Bilingual skills preferred

Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with accepted protocols and provider direction
Prepare and instruct patients to support cooperation and quality test results
Maintain ultrasound rooms, equipment, and supplies
Follow safety, infection control, and OSHA protocols
Record patient information accurately, clearly, and completely
Obtain preliminary patient data before referrals or provider review
Support referral processing and follow-up according to facility protocol
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff
Assist with orientation of new personnel or students when needed
Support continued learning, teamwork, and patient-centered care
